2015 Whedonopolis Halloween Event with Special Guest Joss Whedon!


Whedonopolis and Fandom Charities, Inc. are proud to announce the 2015 Whedonopolis Halloween Event (#WHE2015) featuring Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog with a special, in person appearance by The Man himself, JOSS WHEDON!

This year’s event will benefit the non-profit organization, Kids Need To Read.


UPDATE 09/13- Joss has been gracious enough to rearrange his schedule so that he can give a brief talk and then introduce the Dr. Horrible screening. Unfortunately, he will not be available for photo op or autograph sessions at this event.

UPDATE 09/13- The 2015 Whedonopolis Halloween Event featuring Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog is currently SOLD OUT! Thank you so much to everyone who purchased a ticket and, also, to Joss Whedon, who is helping to make this event as special as we know it will be! If you were unable to get a ticket today, don’t despair! There is a possibility that a very limited number of tickets may become available closer to the event. Sign up for our newsletter to get the most current info as it is announced.

UPDATE 10/17– A very limited number of tickets have been released for this event. All tickets sales will end at 9am Sunday, October 18th.

Ticket Price: $40.00 per person Ticket includes admission to screening, pre-event party, after party, choice of one Whedonopolis exclusive poster and one entry into a drawing for a Whedonopolis exclusive 24″ x 36″ “The Gentlemen Prefer Blondes” poster signed by actors Doug Jones and Camden Toy!


After the heartbreaking cancellation of our 2014 event and many months of searching for a new, yet affordable venue, we are very pleased to have landed at Raleigh Studios in the Chaplin Theatre. Being only 161 seats, we look forward to a fun, intimate event for our fans.

Update 09/13- In addition to our traditional $1 and $5 drawings, this year’s event will include a costume contest to be judged by Costume Designer Shawna Trpcic, so wear your best Dr. Horrible lab coat, Spike leather jacket or whatever! You could win great prizes!  UPDATE 10/14– A sign-up sheet for the costume contest will be available at check-in.

Street parking is also available. UPDATE 1/14– Unfortunately, we will not have access to the parking structure for this event. Limited parking is available on the studio lot for $7. Carpooling is highly recommended.

FAQs

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Attendees over the age of 6 are welcome, but up to the age of 16, must be accompanied by an adult. All attendees need to have purchased a membership.

Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? You can contact us at info@fandomcharities.org.

Is my ticket transferable? Yes, a ticket can be transferred. Please send the name of the original purchaser and the name of the person the ticket is being transferred to via email to info@fandomcharities.org with the subject line “WHE 2015 – Ticket Transfer”.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the ‘event? At check-in we will need to see your ticket/purchase confirmation, but we will be able to check you in with either a printed copy or by viewing the ticket/purchase confirmation on your mobile device.

What is the refund policy? Unfortunately, we are not able to offer refunds for this event.

The name on the ticket doesn’t match the attendee. Is that okay? If the name of the person who purchased the ticket is different from the person attending, please send an email to  info@fandomcharities.org  with the subject line “WHE 2015 – Ticket Transfer” and the ticket will be updated.
