Accessibility at HellmouthCon

HellmouthCon is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for attendees of all abilities.

Because our event takes place across the historic Sunnydale High campus at Torrance High School, some areas of the convention involve outdoor walkways, multiple buildings, and extended walking throughout the day. We encourage attendees to review the information below and contact us in advance with any accessibility questions or accommodation requests.

Accessibility Assistance

HellmouthCon is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience for attendees of all abilities.

If you require accessibility assistance or accommodations during the event, please contact: access@hellmouthevents.org

Our volunteer Access team will do our best to assist attendees before and during the convention weekend.

The Accessibility & Information table will be located near Registration & Will Call just inside the main campus entrance.

Attendees who need assistance, accessibility information, or help navigating the campus are encouraged to stop by during convention hours.

Important Campus Information

  • HellmouthCon takes place across multiple indoor and outdoor campus locations

  • Some activities may require extended walking between buildings

  • Outdoor seating areas are available throughout campus

  • Water refill stations are located across campus

  • Food trucks and rest areas will be available during convention hours

  • Campus layouts and room assignments may be adjusted as we get closer to the event

Mobility Devices

HellmouthCon does not provide wheelchairs, scooters, or other mobility devices onsite. Attendees who require mobility equipment should plan to bring their own.

If you need assistance locating local mobility equipment rental options in the Torrance area, please contact our Access team before the event.

Service Animals & Emotional Support Animals

Service animals and emotional support animals assisting attendees with disabilities, PTSD, anxiety, or other medical needs are welcome at HellmouthCon.

Pets are not permitted on campus.

 

Please remember that HellmouthCon takes place on an active historic school campus with large crowds, outdoor walkways, loud sounds, flashing lights, and long convention days. For the safety and comfort of all attendees, animals must remain under control at all times.

 

And yes, this policy also applies to your emotional support iguana.

Website Management

Website Management maintains the framework of FandomCharities.org, as well as any other domains we may use to make sure they stay up and running.

 

  • Works with other departments to make sure all info on our websites is up to date, and corrects any out of date info.

  • Makes sure all domains registrations are kept current and accurate.

  • Ensures that websites are running and applies technical updates as needed.

 

Most (if not all) of the work of this department is done year round, and does not require attendance at our events to complete the job.
