WhedonCon 2019 Is Here!!!

WhedonCon 2019 kicks off today and if you’re wondering what exactly what kind of convention it is then you’re in luck. WhedonCon is raising funds for charity while celebrating all things in the Whedonverse.

Guests include Julie Benz (Darla on BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER and ANGEL, as well as Rita on DEXTER), Summer Glau (River Tam on FIREFLY and SERENITY, the ballerina in ANGEL, Bennet Halverson in DOLLHOUSE), comic book artist Georges Jeanty, Dagney Kerr (Kathy on BUFFY), Juliet Landau (Drusilla on BUFFY and ANGEL), Miracle Laurie (Mellie on DOLLHOUSE), James C. Leary (Clem on BUFFY), Julia Lee (Sister Sunshine/Chantarelle/Anne on BUFFYand ANGEL), James Marsters (Spike on BUFFY and ANGEL), Sam Anderson (Holland Manners on ANGEL), Gigi Edgley (Chiana on FARSCAPE), Damion Poitier (stuntman on ANGEL, FIREFLY and DOLLHOUSE, co-founder of the podcast ASK YOUR BLACK GEEK FRIEND), Camden Toy (a Gentleman/Gnarl/the first Ubervamp on BUFFY, the Prince of Lies on ANGEL), costume designer Shawna Trpcic, Jonathan Woodward (Holden on BUFFY, Knox on ANGEL, Tracey Smith on FIREFLY), composer Christophe Beck, Steven L. Website Management maintains the framework of FandomCharities.org, as well as any other domains we may use to make sure they stay up and running.

 

  • Works with other departments to make sure all info on our websites is up to date, and corrects any out of date info.

  • Makes sure all domains registrations are kept current and accurate.

  • Ensures that websites are running and applies technical updates as needed.

 

Most (if not all) of the work of this department is done year round, and does not require attendance at our events to complete the job.
