Common Eventeny Questions:
Change the name on a ticket, add a child ticket, etc.
Help with the most common questions we get asked about Eventeny.
We've made this list to help give quick answers to the most common questions we get asked about transferring/upgrading tickets, adding child/youth tickets at a later date, and a few other questions that have come up multiple times. If you do have any questions that are not answered her, or need additional help with anything involving your tickets please reach out to us at registration@hellmouthevents.org. We are more than happy to assist you.
1: Difference between "buyer" and "attendee".
On Eventeny there are two separate but related names/emails that can be associated with a ticket. The first set is the "buyer", and this is the account that was logged in and used to purchase the tickets. This name/email combination cannot be changed, and is locked in when the ticket(s) are purchased. The other set is the "attendee". By default, this will match with buyer info, but can be changed at almost anytime by the buyer logging into their account and changing the name/email combo assigned to individual tickets. The buyer retains full control over any tickets they purchased, regardless of the name/email assigned to an individual ticket. There may be certain add-ons sold where only a person who is listed as the buyer on one or more convention tickets can be the one who purchases these add-ons. If sale is restricted, it will be made very clear in the terms and conditions of the individual add-ons. If you are unsure if you are the buyer of your tickets, you can log on to the platform where the tickets were purchased. On Eventeny you can see all of the tickets you have purchased at https://www.eventeny.com/users/show/, and look under the "My Tickets" section. If you do not see tickets listed for "2026 HellmouthCon on the Hellmouth: Buffy Celebration at Sunnydale High", that means you either have not purchased them yet, or they were purchased under another account. All of the steps/instructions listed on this page require you to be the purchaser of your tickets.
If you did not purchase your own tickets (because a spouse, friend, roommate, etc. purchased them for you), the person who did purchase them is the only one who can make modifications to the tickets, and is the only one who can purchase restricted add-ons. Please make sure you trust anyone who you work with to purchase tickets for our event. If you are not listed as the buyer, we are unable to make any changes, or give you any details as to what purchases have been made other then telling you if there are any tickets with your name/email listed as "Attendee". If you have any questions about this policy, or need any clarifications, please reach out to our registration department at registration@hellmouthevents.org, and we will be happy to assist you.
2: Changing the attendee name/email on my ticket(s):
To change the name or email address of the attendee on one or more tickets, please follow the Eventeny guide located at https://help.eventeny.com/hc/en-us/articles/8386005430555.
3: Upgrade/swap my ticket(s) for another one.
To upgrade your ticket(s), or swap them for another one, please follow the Eventeny guide located at https://help.eventeny.com/hc/en-us/articles/16553392932123.
4: Adding on restricted tickets (such as child/youth tickets) when the required ticket has already been purchased.
Child/youth admission tickets, and most of our individual event tickets (such as photo studio tickets) will require you to purchase/have purchased an adult admission ticket to the convention to be able to purchase them. If you are purchasing everything at the same time, Eventeny will allow you to purchase them without any problems. If you have already purchased your admission tickets, you need to add your new purchases to the existing order in order to "unlock" the new tickets. Eventeny doesn't have a guide on how to do this yet, but here are the steps you need to follow to add restricted tickets if you have already purchased your admission tickets.
-
Log into Eventeny and visit https://www.eventeny.com/users/show/.
-
In the "My tickets" section, locate your tickets for "2026 HellmouthCon on the Hellmouth: Buffy Celebration at Sunnydale High".
-
Click on the blue "View details" link to the right of your tickets
-
In the new window that loads with your tickets, click on the green "+ Add to Order" button located above the first QR Code.
Following these steps will take you back to the ticket sales page, but since you are adding to your order that has your admission tickets, it will unlock any of the restricted tickets so you are able to purchase them.
If you have any other questions, or need any help with your tickets, please reach out to us at registration@hellmouthevents.org.
