Possessing a true talent for words, Tim Minear won the hearts of fans by penning some of the Whedonverse’s most memorable lines, such as Firefly‘s most famous advice that“When you can’t run, you crawl, and when you can’t crawl – when you can’t do that . . . You find someone to carry you.” Though fourteen years have passed, these words still resonate with and beyond the Browncoat community, appearing frequently as the subject of memes, tattoos, and artwork. Full Article is at www.WhedonCon.com

While best known to Whedon fans for his work on Firefly, Angel, and Dollhouse, Tim Minear also collaborated on the quirky Wonderfalls and the racing drama Drive. More recently, he went on to become both writer and executive producer for American Horror Story, for which he has received three Primetime Emmy Nominations. His latest project is an upcoming collaboration with Ryan Murphy called Feud, which premieres March 5, 2017 on FX. Feud focuses on the rivalry between Golden Age superstars Bette Davis (Susan Sarandon) and Joan Crawford (Jessica Lange) during the filming of Hollywood classic What Ever Happened to Baby Jane?

An exciting addition to WhedonCon’s second outing, Minear will share the stage with an ever-growing lineup of onscreen Whedonverse alum including Harry Groener, Keith Szarabajka, Armin Shimerman, Camden Toy, James Leary, Miracle Laurie, Andrew Ferchland, and Damion Poitier. Other notable guests include Farscape’s Gigi Edley and WhedonCon 2017 Guest of Honor David Fury.

WhedonCon 2017 will take place May 19-21 at the Warner Center Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles. Intimate by design, WhedonCon offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for fans to listen, laugh, and learn with the people who make (and made) the Whedonverse tick.
